PTFA Annual General Meeting – January 2018

Our PTFA is a registered charity and in January each year we hold our AGM. This is a meeting for all parents and friends of the school, not just the elected committee members. It is our chance to tell you about our achievements, the difference the PTFA has made to our children’s time at school, and what we need to fundraise for this year. We also elected the key roles of the committee for the coming year.

The PTFA plays an important role in raising much needed funds for the school but also for promoting a strong feeling of community within the school. We are a friendly bunch with a great team spirit and joining us is a really good way to get to know other parents and teachers.  Some of us have joined very recently but some of us have nearly reached the end of our time at St John’s so we would really welcome some new active committee members.  We hold one meeting each term and they are generally held in an evening but occasional daytime meetings can be arranged to suit the majority of the committee.

If you want to get involved with the PTFA or have a great fundraising idea please speak to Mr Gunn or contact us at ptfastjohnsprimaryn11@yahoo.com.  We would be delighted to hear from you!
