St John's C of E School Choir

Choir runs on Mondays after school from 3:30-4:30 in the Year 6 classroom with Miss Hagan.

Choir is open to all Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and will begin in October 2025.

In July, Choir performed at our first Year 6 End of Year Concert.

We were joined by British Gospel artist, Ruth Waldron and Pastor Dave Daniel. We sang two songs originally written by Ruth, Speak to Me and Mercy Song (sung by Year 6), which have been taught to various choirs across London and Europe.

Choir also beautifully sang songs such as Hallelujah, Salvation and Glory (Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir) and Something Inside So Strong (Labi Siffre).

This term, we will begin rehearsing our songs for the 2025 Nativity.
