Rector of St John’s Friern Barnet

I am the Rector of St John’s church and Parish of Friern Barnet. Prior to my ordination I worked in various jobs in England and abroad, including schools, as a Secondary school teacher, SEN teaching assistant and Transport assistant for schools and social services for Portsmouth City Council.
 
As a governor I hope to help St John’s school to continue developing and demonstrating its Christian character. I enjoy taking assemblies, bringing Bible stories to children and helping them explore the Christian values, and build on the foundations of faith.
 
Being involved in schools is one of the aspects of ministry I really relish, enjoying working with children and supporting staff and parents.
